Re: 40-80 K5s

Mike - I also don't see how opening with K5s with a calling station and a LAG behind you can be correct in any poker game. Can you explain to me why you believe this is correct?

Re: Missed some bets & still made a good fold?

I don't understand the flop gaybet. Why not checkraise instead?

Blind steal gets messy

Party Poker 3/6 6max (5 handed).

Big Blind is 41/15/3.87 and has 5.5 bets left before posting.
MP [poster] started with 6.3 bets.
I'm on the button and I have an aggressive table image.

Re: Checkraise bluff w/ 3rd party protection

I don't like your preflop call. Given a straightforward player raised from under the gun and you're out of position I think this is an easy fold.

Re: AQs and clarkmeister

This hand confused me and right after playing it I had that feeling that I had just done something terrible, hence why i posted it. Would anyone cap this preflop, and who would call this turn? I've...

Interesting hand with 44

UTG is 70/23/.92 after 53 hands. He'll raise under the gun with A4s, steal raise from the button with any two, and will checkraise bottom pair on the flop against strength. I've also seen him bet...

Re: Horrible or Standard Scare card SemiBluff......

I'm new to short handed as well, but for what it's worth I don't like it. With four other people in the hand on the flop, the chances of someone having either a King or Jack is greatly increased. ...

Re: KK with an ace on turn

I forgot to mention in my original post that checking behind on the turn is likely to induce a bluff on the river from the big blind, though most of you probably know that.

I'm not making anyone...

Re: KK with an ace on turn

2 things I failed to mention in my original post is that the Ace creates a straight draw on the board, but it's very hard to put either player on KJ or KT. Additionally, the pot is large by the turn...

Bet the turn. Like you said, putting him on AK was overzealous. There's a wide variety of hands that a LAG will coldcall 3 with, these guys are lags.

Re: Ace on turn with KK

A few things that my friend pointed out to me when I showed him this hand just now: I really can't put small blind on AK, but the way the hand was played made it seem like a likely holding. Also, if...

Alright.... I'm convinced that calling the flop and turn is the best play in this situation. Thanks guys.
