Re: Blackhawk/Central City structured limit?

The Gilpin is the only Casino spreading fixed limit and it's $2-4. On Thursday, there's not much going in terms of cash game before noon. As people get knocked out, they get a game going, but...

Re: Is the game beatable?

I also make the occasional trip up to Blackhawk, and yes the games are very beatable. I highly recommend sticking with the $2-4 game for someone accustomed to fixed structure. You'll regularly find...

Re: A weird situation

I think it's fine to make a move there. If the button wants to go, you have a hand, if not you're only risking 5 chips to take a person out. I think you make a raise big enough to show the button...

Re: The Gilpin in Black Hawk, CO Poker League

I'm definitely interested, and I could possibly get at least one more player. I go to school in Golden, along with the other person, so times/dates will definitely matter. I saw the flyer for it,...

Noob question

To preface: I have never played a 6-max table before. I do play quite a bit of limit however, full ring though. Lately I have been playing STT. However, with Party's reload bonus to clear I want...

Party\'s raked hand giveaway

I was just wondering if it would be possible for a $2-4 or even a $1-2 player to finish in the top 150 of raked hands. For those of you that don't know, the contest starts on the 10th and counts...

Streaky Play

Regardless of limit, everything is very streaky. For example, yesterday I was itm 7/8 for my 1st set, then finished the day 6/6 ootm. Does this say something about my play? Does anybody else seem...

Re: Vegas Rooms

Go to the Palace Station. Their card room isn't very good, but I wasn't carded once. Granted I was 20, and easily look well over 21, but I never saw anyone get carded there.

Re: SNG/HOH2 (M) question

In HOH2, he does talk about average stack size. He calls it "Q". However, he does say that when they are conflicting, M is more important. Here again this is a MTT strategy more than a STT...

Re: On Bubble Aggression

You have to stay aggressive if you trying to win. You could continue to play tight and maybe limp into 3rd, but I said with aggression. Take your 4ths when you get caught, but welcome the 1sts as...

Re: $20+2 vs. $30+3 (NL Holdem SnG\'s On Party Poker)

I've started exclusively multi-tabling the $30's, and I think the competition is solid, but not great. I like what Mr. J said. I think the $50's are easier than the $30's becuase of the extra...

Right now I am playing the $30's 4 tabling. Over my 1st 60 I have a -10% ROI, and my ITM is 32%. I know this is a small sample, but I would like to know whether or not I should change limits. I...
