Re: *Official* WCCOP #1 (Sweat, Updates, Etc)

11.5k at 3rd break. Snapped AA with my KK on a preflop all in at level 2, pretty uneventful after that...only small pots.

Get a rakeback deal. If you're playing party, sign up for Empire. Judging by your numbers for August, you should be able to get a deal in the 25-30% range...which would be an extra 1k a month in...

Re: The Mouth Article @ Cardplayer

Great article.

I like him, he embraces his flaws as a person/gambler. I bet you he's no different than a few big time players, he's just not afraid to admit it.

Re: BOB COSTAS RIPS POKER!!!!

Poker is not a sport.

Athletes play sports.

Does Greg Raymer look like an athlete to you?

What poker is, is the greatest GAME in the world. So Bob Costas can still kiss my hairy ass.

Re: Wreckless or justfied move?

1. You're a favorite over a random hand.
2. While you're AVG-Above AVG stacked, the blinds are so big you have to move.
3. You're at the final table bubble against weak players hoping to limp up a...

Re: Tricky 99 Hand

If you're opening, I'd raise preflop here. You're new to the table, so everybody has to give you credit for something...they'd need a hand to play back, I wouldnt expect any moves.

After the flop...

Re: Does anyone else go broke here?

A 300 bet into a 940 pot is a very cheap card, you gave him perfect odds to chase his draw (4:1 to hit, you gave him a little better than 4:1+his implied odds). Considering your stack size, you...

Re: WSOP Main Event Day 1 Hand: Call or Fold?

I have no regrets with the way I played the hand, just the way he did. From the looks of it, the consessus is that he made the right call...although I disagree.

Like I said though, Im bias.

Re: hand vs pro $1000 WSOP NL

Raise to 600-800. Looks like a standard continuation bet with big cards, I think he'd bet more than 1/2pot with a big pair on that board.

I'd lean towards calling more if he were a weaker player...

Re: 15 to the money in the WSOP ME. What do you do here?

Open-Push preflop. I hate that minraise with your stack.

I think you have to go to the felt here AQ, the blinds will eat you alive here on the next two hands, giving you almost no shot. He could...

Re: WSOP Main Event Day 1 Hand: Call or Fold?

1. Do you really think there is a 5-10% chance of a stonecold bluff here? It's a 6 handed pot, there are still
two limpers and the preflop raiser behind UTG+2. What type of hands would a tight...
