Re: Heads up vs. a somewhat surprising bet

If the turn was 4/images/graemlins/club.gif I might fold here.

Here I call, even if he has some crappy 2-pair you still have outs.

Re: New Computer Build

Definitely go with the Sonata case and 1GB. That extreme memory you have is a little on the expensive side, but that's alright.

The Sonata case has a 380W PS which should be fine, Antec power...

Yeah the death penalty is virtually nothing, just your equipment takes a little damage -- cough up a little cash to repair, no big deal. It takes 1 or 2 minutes max to run to your corpse as a ghost,...

Re: For those of you who havn\'t chosen a WoW server yet.

I read somewhere that everyone will be forced to play on their regional servers. I'm not sure what that means though? US can't play on Canada's servers, West coast / East coast?

PS maybe someone...

Party Poker 100k hand bonus

Right now Party is having a lucky hand bonus. Every 100k hands the winner of the hand gets $500 and everyone else at the table gets $100. What's stopping us from taking over a table and have...

Re: 4-8 at Deadwood against a Live Straddling Dealer Playing

Is this one of those times you call the raise and induce a bluff/call the river?

The other possibility is he has two spades in...

Re: 44 vs. PFR --> flop decision

Implied odds = (money to win later) / (money paying now)

If money paying now goes up, implied odds go down.

Re: Weak tight? Set of 7\'s in the muck on a 4 straight board.

Someone once told me never to fold a set unless it's 2 bets on a 4-flush board. I think that's pretty good advice.

Oh yeah and you can always suck out on the ocean.

Pocket Jacks vs 2 overcards and the uber fish

I moved up to 3/6 to test the waters for awhile. It seems a little tighter, and people seem like they're actually folding second pair. It's kind of strange.

Anyway, both opponents in this hand...

Re: Casino rules allow abuse/cheating? Warning: RANT!

That rule is horrible. If you want to play there though you should just buy in for the amount of the big blind and go all-in unless you have a premium hand. Then rebuy for the next hand and repeat.
