Re: $2/4 vs. $3/6? Educate me

The 3/6 games are a lot tougher than the 2/4 games. A lot more pros play in these games and you'll be lucky if you turn a profit in some of the stronger games. Stick to 2/4 or lower.

Re: Rookie of the Year: John Gale

I've heard a lot of good things about the dude. Seems to enjoy playing the game for the game's sake, and has very good card/people sense.

WPT HU: 300k/600k A50k, you can't chop. 16,500,000 in play.

Re: WPT Final 6 (Clearly Official 5 Diamond Day 5 Thread)

Hand #119 - Patrik Antonius has the button in seat 2, he moves all in, and Pedersen calls all in (for $2,785,000) with pocket queens (Qh-Qd). Antonius shows 8s-5d, and he'll need to improve to...

[ QUOTE ]
This always seems to happen. 2 or 3 exciting players make the final table in a WPT event alongside 3 or 4 no-names, and the exciting players get knocked out early.

Re: It should be an interesting final table for TV

You're all forgetting that the WPT really isn't poker, so anything the commentators say can be entirely ignored.

I wonder if Chau could identify Dale Davis and Elden Campbell from a lineup. I somehow suspect not.

Re: WPT Championship, Bellagio 4/06

they have weekly $1ks, friday and saturday..

I can see no reason why they won't run a series before this event, though.. it's their biggest event of the year.
