Re: Results.

I don't really understand this line. In more aggressive and SH game - maybe. How often are we really getting called in this spot if we are ahead. And if we are getting called in this spot with...

Re: Do I fold AA on this flop with this action?

PSR would be to 27. I would probably make it 30, because
a) nobody wants multi-way pot OOP in this spot
b) it tends to narrow opponent hand range

btw, i fold that flop after that action by...

Re: Been A Long Time Since I Folded KK Pre

This has nothing to do with PFR%. I have never seen anything but AA putting 4 raise preflop (barring shortstack ultra-donks playing like it's limit poker.) Even if PFR is 50, it's pretty safe to fold...

Re: AA gets reraised PF by nitty player

200 hands is not nearly enough to conclude villain would only reraise PF with AA/KK. A case could be made for reraising again preflop. Last 4-5 times I pushed PF after getting reraised, I was called...

Re: NL200...3/5 Blinds at Bicycle Casino

This should be an easy push considering villain description and the fact that your stack is pretty short and you haven't been running well.

Re: 5/10 NL QQ oop

I agree with betting more on the flop. For whatever reason at the time it seemed in line with usual CB at the table, but I think when I lead so weak villain would be more inclined to put me to the...

5/10 NL QQ oop

I don't play PS 5/10 much. I was at the table for a while and I'm probably running in my tightest gear possible. Villain seems pretty tight, and sits on several tables, but I wasn't paying too much...

Re: I\'m about to give up here...

Ah, constructive criticism, that's great.

The reason I posted 2 hands is that they share the same theme - big hand on a broadway flop OOP in a raised pot. Obviously we are not looking for folding...

I\'m about to give up here...

Seriously, guys, what can I do to get some advice here or at least responses? Fsuplayer just posted a similar hand with more shallow stacks and in position and it already had 19 responses. Now I...

Re: Sanity check with sets, not that deep 5/10 NL

Hand 1 I didn't reraise the flop, because I didn't want to blow the villain off the 1 pair type of hand. He is capable of getting in a lot of money in with something like 2 pairs there, but it would...

Sanity check with sets, not that deep 5/10 NL

This is probably pretty standard, so let me know if this should be posted lower (or just move it).

5/10 NL, 9 handed
Hero ~1800
Villain ~6000
Villain has been running very well and he is plaing...

Re: 97s.

I hate the way you played it.

Preflop I don't think it is such a great idea to raise in that spot preflop. So far you only have one shorty in the pot, against him 97s is not that great of a hand....

Re: 98s.

If you people put so much faith in stats, why don't you take a look at his WSD, which is 39%. Don't you think that set-miners would have a higher percentage of winning showdowns?

This fold is...

Re: Truly donking the nut flush

that's why you bet the turn, so he can call with JhJ, QhQ.

Re: Truly donking the nut flush

Somehow I doubt that B_Buddy doesn't get out of line in several hours. Also doubt that even he reraises anything in SB that can beat nut flush here.

Re: What is your biggest downswing?

7 buyins in a matter of 2.5 hours at 5/10. Hitting second-best hands heads up is a bitch.

Re: Can I ever lay this down?

This doesn't make much sense. Why do you go all in if you are so confident that you were beat.

Also I think I go broke on this hand more often than not. UTG is not really a concern here. I would...

3/6 QQ 3 handed vs wild one

Here is a hand I played awhile ago that's been bothering me.

I sat down about 5 minutes or so ago. Villain is sitting on 4 buyins stack (which is pretty rare in that game) and seems to be feeling...
