Re: i knew he was gonna do that

Assuming MP is not going to isolate with just anything..... what hands would he reraise that you beat at this point?

AK,AQ,A10,JJ,99 and 88. Is this player going to go crazy with any of those...

How long?

Roughly how long would I have to play poker for probabilities to finally settle in? If I am playing 5 hours a week, do I have to wait about 10 years?

Thanks,

Sleeper

Re: $40/$80 hand, pocket nines.

I believe that many players overplay overpairs.... I think in this situation, your hand is not that strong based on the betting and the board.... I lose my most money when I lose pocket pair to a...

Re: Put this villian on a hand and tell me what to do

Assuming the cutoff is reasonable and the table is not extremely loose, I would think that a hand like 56 suited would not be played in this position for its odds potential. Personally, I would raise...

Re: $10/$20 hand-what would you do??

You have 5 players in a raised pot.... I think anyone that holds a Q would most definetely bet, as the pot has become large, and there are potentially good hands to pay you off. Once the hand is...

Re: QJs

Hi Bob,

If you held a high diamond in your hand such as KdQx, how would you play the hand? Is this player unwilling to fold TP? I would normally fold on the flop in this situation. However, had I...

Re: RESULTS and discussion

Nightwish,

If he knows you have KQ, would he assume you would call a bet on the river? Is he more likely to believe you will bet if he checks? If I had AA here, I would probably bet the river here...

Re: PFR 3 bet, flop check

I like checking this flop..... I would say that at least 80% of the time he is holding a very strong hand (10's,K10,AK). What kind of hand would he check with that is weak here? Maybe he has an...

Re: A flop decision - Party 30/60

I believe what he means is you are getting 2 to 1 on your betting odds. When you raise, you are only going to get 2 bets on that particular street. Also, when raising the flop here, you will increase...

Re: Is this river lead, ever not the nuts?

If villian is solid, don't you think he misplayed AQ in this situation? I guess it could be possible that he has JJ, but I would think 9 out of 10 times he is going to show KJ or AK/KQ. I raise here...

Re: NL100 Hand: Fold bottom set here?

I don't know the whole stats thing.... I usually pick up on players based on how they have been playing with me...

Given this player is loose, and not passive, I would have to call down, as there...

Re: NL100 Hand: Fold bottom set here?

I would tend to agree with that... what kind of starting hands do you put on this player when he raises in early position? 56% is very high, but 4% is pretty low.... I would have to treat his raises...

Re: NL100 Hand: Fold bottom set here?

It is one thing to see many flops, it is another thing to go crazy with the betting.... All I know is this individual is representing lots of strength through the whole hand. Personally, I would...

Re: NL100 Hand: Fold bottom set here?

Does that represent 2% of hands he raises after the flop?

Re: NL100 Hand: Fold bottom set here?

The first thing mentioned in the post is how our villian is extremely passive.... given his preflop raise, turn checkraise, and then big bet on the river, I would start to get worried that he has a...

Re: put in one more raise? Party 30/60

Hey Sobe,

I agree with you on some of your points, however, I think a case can be made that the villian has a high flush. I think the possibilty of him having 88 is low, as this was the river...

Re: Is it really that easy of a bet?

I am under the assumption that a loose passive player could easily have an 8 here... however, I would still bet, as they tend to call with weak holdings. If raised, I can easily fold, as if he is...

Re: How insane is thiking about folding AQo for 2 more bets pre-flop here?

So what kind of flop would you like to see? The best scenario is the button has something like A10, the SB picked up a small pair, and the BB has a hand like 9/10 suited.... Personally, I would fold...

Re: Posting into games

I personally always wait to post in the cutoff.... The button is the best seat at the table, but the cutoff is pretty damn good too..... I think it is all about position, and BB and SB are horrible...

Re: Typical preflop situation

Hi Clark,

I totally agree with a call here, but I have a question. Is this an automuck on the flop if you do not hit a set, or a straight draw.

What if the flop comes A,2,4 or 3,4,7. I am...

Re: 20/40 value bet with the doyle brunson?

What were the game conditions? One would think that if the game is semi-tight, that hands like 22, 33 and 10/9 were most likely out of the question. One would also think that he would have bet the...

Re: Quick Preflop check

I am pretty sure that I would fold all three of these hands in this situtation. All 3 hands are at the bottom of my raising sprectrum, and a tight aggresive player surely has me dominated. I would...

Re: 2 folds

I guess you are getting 17-1 preflop..... I usually play the 10/20 and 8/16 games.... so the SB is only half the bet...... I guess you are right, but you need to be able to fold it in situations like...
