Slim it seems ICM could be used here to answer my question, however, did you input the payout structure as

1st-4th $275.50+27.5 ($302.5)
5th $25+2.5 ($27.5)

not sure how this would change...

There are two key parts in my original post which nobody has pointed out yet.

i'm not sure you should always use pot odds as gospel.

if say our stack was 400 less then,

lets say 40% of the time we do win the 3 way all-in

(0.4 x 500) + (0.6 x 200) = 200 + 120 = 320
...
