computer simulation v. actual play

In Omaha, according to simulation, preflop hand values are close together (much closer than hold'em hands preflop). So it seems you can play looser preflop because you are usually not much of a dog....

I remember the author recommeded that you raise 5 hands in a row (regardless what you hold) to intimidate your opponents. Why don't you try it to see if your opponents get intimidated?.
