\"Using the \"M\" Factor at the 10/1 level

Since HOH II came out, I have been trying to use his theory about "M" in SNGs. All of these SNGs are at the 10/1 level.
HOH states that if your "M" gets below 5, you should pretty much push with any...

AK in trouble?

Both players in this hand have been playing solid poker. They havn't been involved in many hands and the hands they have shown down have been reasonable.

What would you do with a raise in front...

How would you play this hand? Villian seems like a decent player and the hands he has shown have been reasonable. (stack sizes are approximate)

Re: AJo push after minraise and a call (8-handed)

I don't like the "push" for the following reasons:

1. You have a raise and a call in front of you.

2. I realize you are down to 8 X the BB, but, AJo is a litte too weak for me with a raise...

Re: (22) Aces post flop

I push the turn after he checks to me. There is t450 on the pot and I only have t565 left.

If I check the turn behind him then I have no idea where I am at in the hand going to the river. ...

Do you push these hands?

I have been struggling for the past 6 weeks. In fact, September was my 1st month that I actually lost money this year. I am beginning to second guess myself. Maybe I am trying to be too agressive....

Would you fold, call or push?

MP1 has not played a lot of hands and the ones that he has shown down have been reasonable.

When I first began playing SNGs, I followed McEvoy/Cloutier's advice and only played AK, AA and KK up...

Re: General question against an unknown

I fold. I do not like getting all my chips in the middle at level 1 with with TPTK unless I am the agressor.

Especially with this dangerous looking flop. He could have limped with JT, KT, 88,99...

What do you push when shortstacked ?

Let me preface this by saying I play exclusively at the 10/1 level.

Over the past 150 games, either my cards are "running cold" or I am playing badly, or both. Because I am not doing well, I am...

Hand History Help from fellow 2+2ers

Lately, I have been struggling at 10/1 SNGs.

A little background information. I play at the 10/1 level. I play around 2 games per day during the week and around 5 to 7 games per day on the...

Re: Big Stacks Going at It

Depends on what you are after.

I play for the win and push!

I am getting 1.4 to 1 pot odds with the 5th best starting hand in poker.

If I am wrong and he has a big hand and beats me, I get...

How bad did I mess this up?

I think I played this hand as about as bad as I could have possbily done.

Please critique.

1. What would you have done preflop? Push, complete the SB or fold?

2. How about the flop? ...

Do you make this call?

This table has been very LAGgy. Villian is one of the LAGgy players.

1. Would you have pushed villian's reraise preflop or just call?

2. If you call, would you call his bet after the flop if...

Easy push.

Play for the win and settle for 3rd (in this case 4th).

You have the 5th best starting hand in poker.

You will probably get your money in with the best hand (which you did) and...

Re: Two hands with 100/200 blinds hows my line?

Hand #1

You are getting 5.6 to 1 pot odds, so this is an easy call for me. It is 24% of your stack, but with those pot odds, I call.

Hand #2

With the amount of money you have left,...
