Bet gets fold closer to 99% not 90%. Check until 7th then bet (unless someone else makes open trips). Then they fold on 7th anyway, but sometimes back into a straight of flush and you get one bet...

I don't see cashing them in would be a problem. They asked him to cash them in, so it seems unlikely they would turn him away at the cashiers.

I've got to agree that it sounds much more like an expert play than a fish one. One things sure though, it was one of the two as middle of road players don't do this.

The idea of raising to drive out overcards is totally wrong. You need to get in as cheap as possible to make a +EV.

By raising you may win the blinds occasionally but who cares blinds are worth...

Thanks for your analysis guys. For the record the QQ held up (and the AA would have won) leaving me with a guaranteed 4th which i managed to improve to 3rd and a deal to give me 20% overall with 10%...

The results aren't here, I deliberately didn't post them. The opposing hands are here, and are pretty much as i would have expected, with 2 big pairs and Axs.
