Mandalay has many irrational rules, but this isn't one of them. They are right next to the sports books. It is illegal to have electronic devices like cell phones and IPODs in the sports book area....

I am 21 and go to the NW Indiana casinos (Trump and Harrahs) frequently and ALWAYS get carded, without fail. It's not worth trying it in Indiana. If you look close to 21, you'll get carded.
