Re: Help with loose aggresive $0.5-1 PL
Wait for AA, then go all in preflop and bust the entire table /forums/images/icons/wink.gif
Seriously though, you want to tighten up your starting hands, as the blinds have become relatively small...

Re: The blind leading the blind
Fold preflop. K9 suited is no good - sometimes when you make your flush, you'll run into Ax suited and drop your whole stack; and without the suitedness, K9 is just a real dog of a hand.
But...

Re: Did I misplay KK?
Raise the pot or more with KK preflop.
I would have raised big on the flop. He is unlikely to have AA or two pair with that betting, so chances are you have him beat. You want to get as many of...

BruceZ, you appear to have discovered a whole "Theory of Jerks" - hilarious and also very useful!

Re: Inspections and UN are a Colossal Joke
Out of interest, what odds would people give that no WMD with a delivery system capable of attacking the US mainland is found in Iraq? And what odds that no functioning biological or chemical weapons...

Re: Too Cute With The Nuts
Whenever you flop the nuts you should go into Gorilla mode - swing them to and fro to get as much action as you can get, then hope someone follows you to the river and is prepared to pay for a look!

Re: Ever appropriate to fold AA (preflop)?
Even if you somehow find a situation where folding AA is profitable, you should go all in anyway to avoid the psychic pain of seeing that you would have won, and then thinking "I coulda, shoulda"....

Re: Playing against the bully; or is he?
I agree with Rollaj. They are just raising all hands that a normal player would call on. My preferred response is to play as normal, but to reraise callable hands from good position and raisable...

Re: NLHE 2 AA hands
I agree with Limon. On the first hand, you are being given big action with AA preflop, and you have position. His reraise indicates a good hand, so jam him back and hope for KK or QQ - people find it...

Re: Four-handed vs. a Grandmaster
Ray - would you fold in "Grandmaster"'s position with more than 7 BB in the pot? IMO if it's just a random heart on the river then it's a clear call, so the key question is whether "Gab" definitely...

For me the key is to not get emotionally unbalanced by losses, and to avoid mistakes. The best way to achieve this is to not care about your results - just focus on playing well, and let the money...

Re: Comments Needed, No Limit HE
IMO this is not the right play.
First, a tight player has raised a multi-way hand pre-flop, so I think you can put him on either a big pair or high suited cards.
Position wise you are not in...

Re: Semi-bluffing on turn
I agree with Ross. He sounds like a typical weak caller - a good top pair or better would normally raise your flop bet in that situation , and a slowplay is unlikely with the flush draw out there. He...
