Re: AKs Flop Laydown

MP1 could hold TQs, JQs, AJs just to name a few.

Re: AQ in SB against MP raiser, K on the turn

Yes, I want him to fold AK/AQ and maybe 99 to my cr on flop and turn bet. If I 3-bet pf, he's never going to fold AK UI which is the worst thing that could happen.

Re: AQ in SB against MP raiser, K on the turn

I 3bet this preflop sometimes but for that hand, my plan was to call pf and cr any flop without K. Anyway, that's another topic.

The problem with lead the turn and fold if raise is that you are...

Partypoker 2/4 Hold'em (10 handed)

Preflop: Hero is SB with AQo
3 fold, MP1 raises, all fold, Hero calls, BB folds.

Reads on MP1, tight but not very aggressive (1.8AF PF)

Flop: (2.50 BB)...

Re: How to Play KK when A flops?

I read through most of the posts here and no one mentioned check the flop. Is that way off?

Re: Flop decision: good or bad choice? Why?

Quote damaniac "this raise is costing us 1 bet and not 3"

This is just wrong. The raise could easily cost 2 bets if SB or MP1 caps.

Re: QQ hand. Giving a free card, checking w/ outs or inducing a bluff?

I don't get it. Everyone's saying that this QQ hand is ahead more often than not on turn. But is it true? Let's have a list.

QQ ahead of: AJ, AT, 99~77 and who knows whatever junk
QQ behind of:...

Re: JJ - Do you do anything different?

bad bad bet on river. there is no way he's calling with a worse hand and there is no way he's folding a better hand.

Re: Flop play w/ AA, big pot

I raise the flop to drive out backdoor draws. By not raising, you are giving them the right pot odds to draw to all kinds of runner runner flush, str8 etc.

I also think it may increase your...

blind play, adjustment from 5/10 to 15/30

I played 5/10 for a couple months and decided to move up. The one thing that I feel most uncomfortable right now is the blind play, which is due to the 2/3 blind structure for 15/30.

Senario 1

Re: Are they cheating?

I didn't jump to any conclusion. I was hoping someone had experienced similiar situations could share some information.

Re: Are they cheating?

Why would you say that? They are blanks so that there is no str8 or flush possiblity. I don't see how 289 and 726 are different in this case.

Are they cheating?

I ran into this hand that frustrated me.

Party 5/10 full table. I had AQs in early position. I raised and were called by two MPs who posted blinds. Both just sit in and that was their first hand....

Re: Last one I promise... HU w/ bottom pair out of position

I think you are giving BB too much credit here. His flop raise doesn't mean anything to me. HU any pair is a good hand. I probably bet out on turn, fold to a raise. If BB calls, I check fold river. ...

Re: Has anyone 8-tabled the 6-max tables?

I am sure that four of those 8 tables are on party. The other four? poker star? UB? I just don't see games at other sites as good.

Re: i would

My concern was if i cap the flop, he probably would bet out the turn, but then check-call after i raise. maybe i was thinking too much.

AA against KK/QQ

Here's a hand I just played on PP 5/10 6max

I had AA in late position. EP raised, I reraised and he capped. Now I pretty much put him on KK/QQ, more likely KK.

My read on EP, he's aggressive...

Re: Preflop hands II

You fold 4? I assume the later limper hold weak, unless I have a read on him.

Re: Preflop hands II

/images/graemlins/laugh.gif I made all same decisions before I read your post. I seldom raise 8 though.
