Re: Chip labels

It IS a major hassle...I've done it twice, 1000 chips each time. But for the price to have some custom chips it's not such a big deal. A few hours of labeling while you're watching the TV. If you're...

Re: does cutting prevent cheating?

Another common but more difficult method is to crimp the bottom card of the arranged deck prior to offering it to be cut. When the deck is cut, the crooked dealer locates the original bottom...

Re: Tipping the Dealer in a Home Cash Game

So what if it's not the 'house' taking the tips? Not trying to work around the law or anything, but often at cash games, a player will bust and offer to deal. Often times, this player is not the...

Scared of this River?

Early, no reads, had villian on flush or straight draw. River concerns me, perhaps he hit his straight? Not likely as this would indicate limping with AK.

Re: Chip Label Feedback

I like the second one. I think, however, you don't need the denom 4 times. Just pick a spot and put it there. Also the font seems a bit inconsistant, perhaps that is by design (the word ROOM the...

Re: Should you use a small stack to gamble?

Are you 4 tabling or such? In these cases often times I'll just start up another tourney (since I only 1 or 2 table anyways) and play the short stack tourney as a 'bonus'..

Some of the more etiquette minded players at my games do throw some money back my way 'if they are in the money', but also perhaps this is because I usually deal the whole game mayself, while playing...

Re: Dealer Error!

Well, the immature burn card isn't shuffled back in, only the immature turn. With the method in Robert's Rules, this way at the very least the river card is the same as it would've been without the...

Re: Someone wants to bring a cheat sheet to our tourney- thoughts?

There is absolutely nothing wrong with it. If he wants to have a notebook with notes on strategy, odds, player notes, or whatever, so be it. As long as he's not holding up the game by referring to it...
