Re: SB folded n/m

[ QUOTE ]
Also, are you accounting for the fact that there are fewer possible comboes of 56, 55, and 66 because of hero's holding?

[/ QUOTE ]

Sheesh, I hope to hell so. I'm using Andrew...

Re: SB folded n/m

[ QUOTE ]
Those stacks are too big to stick it in there on the flop in an unraised pot. You'd be putting in the 4th bet; even real bad players know that means something huge. If you manage to get it...

What range of hands would you put on pandora..

AA, KK QQ, JJ, 7h8h, 66, 55

think of any others that are reasonable?

Ah6h and KhQh come to mind. AhKh probably isn't...

Re: 20/40 top set

[ QUOTE ]
I'd throw up if 2 pair checked it back to me. I bet it all here.

Of course; but an equally emetic outcome occurs if you stack and the man mucks a two-pair he was...

yes

[/ QUOTE ]

I'm surprised that you think so: that seems to be a horrible Villain holding to justify a $3K call with 1700 in already. Accepting your premise that a flush draw is...

Re: 10/20 hand reading exercise

Typo on the AK. I meant AQ.

[/ QUOTE ]

Good; so it wasn't just me. I don't know why, but I parsed your post carefully, and did nothing but confuse myself. The prospect of a typo...

Preflop: 2 broadways, most probably suited. KQ, AJ, AQ.

Flop: Top pair, good kicker. KQ, KJ, AK.

Turn: KQ, KJ, AQ.

Re: A crazy holiday poker story and an ethical question (low content)

On your next trip to Vegas, put it on a number on the roulette wheel. If you win 35x, ship him back half.

Re: Full House on the button vs PF raiser, easy stack right?

Depends on the player. Some guys will fire another bullet at you on the turn if you just call; others will be more likely to put all their money in if you raise right away to somewhere around triple...

Re: Full House on the button vs PF raiser, easy stack right?

Hard to imagine that a stack is the right play against a 100 bet into a 170 pot with another 1800 behind. The man is drawing thin or dead; let him come to you on the turn or river. What's going to...

default play would be to bet the pot. I'm not sure what I'd do againt a raise though...I'm afraid to say but it may be correct to fold to a raise on the river, against most sane players at...

Re: 25-50 SH vs Layne Flack

[ QUOTE ]
8k stacks each. I'm in SB with 8s9s. Layne raises to 200, I call.

Flop (450): 8h3h9c. I check, he bets 350, I make it 1200, he calls.

Turn (2850): 10s. I bet 2850, he pushes,...

Re: Hellmuth\'s revolutionary articles

I don't.

The fact that Unbluffable bet out the flop strongly suggests that Phil's trips are going to get paid: unless an A comes, Unbluffable looks committed. If so, Phil can get his money in as...

Totally Inexplicable 10-20 NLH Hand from Stars

I've never seen the SB before, but MP1 multitables the 10-20 Stars NLH all the time and routinely seems to have deep stacks.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $20 BB (9 handed) converter...
