Re: Folding a flopped set

Thanks for the advice guys.

Most of your were right on with your read. I ended up folding, and he showed JJ, one of which being a diamond.

One of my flaws is working too hard to get third when...

Folding a flopped set

These numbers aren't exactly right, but should be pretty close.

Blinds are 150/300

UTG (1200.00 in chips)
Me (4000.00 in chips)
SB (3820.00 in chips)
BB (5000.00 in chips)

I am on the...

Sorry...I didn't notice you were looking at your postflop play...

I would probably bet the turn here, in case he has an ace. I don't think he's trying to trap you, and he's screaming weakness. ...

Re: QQ: Totally weak post-flop play, or...

You should raise much more preflop, to somewhere between 250 and 300. QQ is a great hand, but if someone has K10 then your min-reraise will not chase them out (probably), and they will end up...

Re: QQ during an all-in fest

Fold...there's too good of a chance that at least one of them has you beat. Even if you're not beat preflop, you're probably going to lose the hand most of the time. There are better spots to get...

If yes, Fold.

If no, Call.
