Re: A super tuesday hand

Hmm, I think I may have checked the flop. The turn bet seemed a little awkward.

On whole, the pf and flop play seem ok, this seems like a tricky one to play out of position.

Perhaps you should try it out.

I have mixed feelings. I'm disappointed in my ROI and my 2nd place finishes I know it's subpar. However, I'm on the winning end and I know I can...

Re: Did i misplay AQ?

With no reads, I'd say this was played ok PF and on the flop. If you were thinking one of the callers had AK or KK, I'd say they would have pushed on the turn. The turn bet is a bit weak if you are...

Re: Question - Typical Opening Bets in Live NL - $100 Max ($1/$2 Blind

Thanks, sounds like I need to make some adjustments. There were a lot of people playing a lot of hands, even if it cost 10-15$ to see a flop. Typical hands like K9s, JTo, small aces, etc. It sort of...

Question - Typical Opening Bets in Live NL - $100 Max ($1/$2 Blinds)

Morning all:

Can any folks who normally play B&M NL $100 max comment on typical opening bets/raise amounts?

I played it for the first time live last night, and had a hard time adjusting (have...

Heading to Turning Stone Today (3/18)

In state for work, will be heading over for an all-night (if I don't bust) session. Will probably also bet some tourney games (Assuming they have a book there?).

Any 2+2'ers there today?

Push PF? Other than that, I'd say it looks ok. Villain turn a flush?

Re: another botched TT hand...

Yo wiggs:

Would have raised pf, 3-4BB (pretty standard). Assuming there was a flop and someone bet into that flop, I would re-raise.

Re: 50+5 hand

I agree with the others - I don't like this play here. Blinds are too small, and you risk breaking TJ's rule - "Never go broke in an unraised pot".

Re: A leak of mine, common situation: Help

Yeah, AK unsuited early can be tricky. Given the stacks/blinds, I might have made it $200 PF. Flop bet was fine, I probably would have tossed on the turn. Another option would have been a check raise...
