Re: When would you consider folding this?

I think you need to raise PF. This is going to help you later in this hand with narrowing down your opponents hand. Not sure why you didn't 3-bet the flop. Again, I'm betting out on the turn after I...

Re: Am I so bad I can\'t even play KK?

Haven't read all the replies yet but here's my view:
Hand #1 - looks good, you could have lost more if your opponent wasn't so passive.

Hand #2 - Gotta 3 bet this flop. There's nothing you could...

Re: These hands are killing win rate.

I'd raise this preflop but after that I think it looks pretty good. Be interesting to see what more people think.

Re: Basic? How to play AQo against PFR?

[ QUOTE ]
If you do come across a maniac who is raising light enough so that AQo is in the better half of hands he'll raise with, you'll want to get it heads up and keep as much of his money for...

Re: Getting ready to move up.

Thanks, that's what I was looking for. When you open the tables and leave, I am assuming you are running PT and maybe something like pokerace? I wasn't aware that they would track the stats when you...

Re: Getting ready to move up.

I know you were messing around. Its hard to read tone on message boards but I figured at least. I like to think that I just negotiated really well as opposed to my car is cheap. ...

Re: Getting ready to move up.

I'm definitely moving up. This just turned from a thread hoping to get info about what to expect at 1/2 to a thread about if I'm ready for the move and my car/go kart.

Re: Getting ready to move up.

I'm going to move up, I was just wondering if anybody had any insight on how the game at 1/2 would differ from the game at .5/1. And its a Mazda 3 not a go kart.

Re: Getting ready to move up.

Well, I didn't make the payments with all poker money every month, but it certainly helped a lot (usually at least half of the payment).

Re: Getting ready to move up.

The 4,500 is just what I have stats on since I got PT. Those are my hands for the past month. Previous to this, I was taking out my winnings to pay my car payments. So, I'm missing about 11 months of...

Re: Anything good here with 66 in SB?

I'm definitely betting the flop. With two opponents and two cards to the flush on the flop I don't want to give away any free cards.

Getting ready to move up.

My BR is now ready for me to move up to 1/2. I'm play at PP .5/1 with a winrate of 3.44BB/100 over about 4,500 hands. Is there much difference between the .5/1 and 1/2 at PP? What should I expect as...

Re: First Royal, how\'d I play it?

I did raise preflop. The title was b/c I was unsure of the turn play and curious if I played it right.

Re: Another situation I don\'t know how to handle

What about A2? Lots of people at this limit will limp early with this (or any Ace for that matter). Any Ace is a good Ace right?

Re: First Royal, how\'d I play it?

Not sure. After the hand I started to think about the turn and I wasn't completely sure if I had played it right. During the hand it seemed like the right thing to do. That's why I wanted to post it...

Re: First Royal, how\'d I play it?

Are you referring to the preflop raise? I called the turn. If you meant preflop, I like to raise this type of hand in this position preflop. I have a couple limpers in front of me, can seize the...

First Royal, how\'d I play it?

This was my first royal in over a year of playing. I think I could have gotten more maybe out of the turn, not sure why I slowed down there. I had somebody willing to play with me and I'm usually...

Not sure I understand how you're getting past the flop on this one, especially with no reads.

Re: call for image?

This may be just me, but I'm never making a call I don't want to for image at a small stakes table. Chances are most people aren't even paying attention to you and what you do, they are just playing...
