Re: AA butchered (I think)

I would've fallen into the same trap, I think. When villain doesn't cap the flop, I would've gotten squirrely and led the turn as well. When he pulls the sng and pops you on the turn, you gotta...

Re: Pocket nines against a low paired board

.....exposing my aggro tendencies....I would pop him again. Not knowing the guy, he could very well have Ax, and by raising, you will knock out SB. Until I know otherwise, I wouldn't give BB much...

Re: A routine fold?

on a table as aggressive pf as this one, I think playing JTs is a big mistake UTG.

that said, I probably would have folded the flop too.

Re: Called turn, folded river. What do you think?

Looks like villain has TPTK on flop given his stats-started with AJo. I think you were right to fold.

Re: KQo and Ts that gave me alot of trouble

Hand 1. I would think about 3 betting the flop, other than that, I think I would play the same. If MP1 is welling to bluff raise that scare card, I woulda folded as well.

Hand 2. You are...

grunching

Hand 1: I think I 3 bet the flop against this LAG....If he caps and comes out firing on the turn, I would go into call down mode.

Hand 2: I would most definitely 3 bet the flop unless villain...

Re: What did I do wrong here?

I take it from your questions that you lost. I don't see anyway you could prevent losing to AA or a set or worse. Capping PF is Goot. I believe I cap the flops as well. When He comes out firing...

Re: Slow down with my top pair?

call down, especially closing the action you are getting 14-1, may have the best hand against a lag, and have a redraw to the nut str8.

Re: TP decent kicker vs. an unknown (regression in my play?)

I would be labeled a LAG, as I'm like 19+/11/3 at 15k hands in .25/.50, and similar stats at .50/1.00; but I think PF I might raise 3 off the button at a loose table. After that, I would call the...

Re: I can\'t beat .5/1 Party

I am experiencing the same thing, to a degree at Paradise .50/1. While I am only down 50 BB after 2k hands, I just can't get ahead. I was winning at 8 BB/100 over 10k hands at .25/50. What I find...

Re: Let\'s try a play along...newbies\' chance to shine

Me, I'm gonna just call this, because you aren't going to thin the field at this table.

Re: Screw SSHE, I want to fold

Im calling, if only for sanity's sake. You have to be sure BB wouldn't 3 bet a lone raiser with KQs( /images/graemlins/heart.gif) to not see 1 bet.

Re: Too Aggressive?

If I were button, and I had AA or KK, I woulda 3 bet PF. From there, though, my play woulda been the same, smoothcall the flop (with the nuts), wake up on the turn. Once button pops you twice on...
