Folding AA HU on turn to CR
Villian is unknown. Versus a typical 3/6 opponent with a pretty small pot, I don't think I'm good enough here getting 7 to 2 to call down assuming a bet on the river and little chance for...

Re: Raising the flop w/overs
Not sure if you've read them yet, but these two articles by Jason Pohl provide some detailed analysis about playing overcards on the flop in shorthanded games.

Re: AKs River Raise...Spewage?
[ QUOTE ]
What hand are you representing? If SB has anything at all he's gonna call due to how confusing your play is. And it's not like anyone with a queen is folding. I'd fold it.

AKs River Raise...Spewage?
Reads:
SB is 48/8/1 after 65 hands. He seemed laggier than his stats show and I did not respect his play.
Button is 16/8/2 after 65 hands. He used to multitable 3/6 full and I think he was a...

Re: using my position
I like the way you played it. I think a lot of players will go into call down mode after you 3bet preflop and cap the flop unless you're beat. Calling the 3bet and popping the turn maximizes the...

Blind Steal w/A4os Played Passively
Villian is 29/14/2 with a folded BB to blind steal of 25% after 282 hands.
I figured it was a WA/WB situation and if villian is drawing to 4 or 5 outs, he doesn't have the odds to continue....

Re: Calling a Raise w/78s in SB
[ QUOTE ]
This is an auto fold if we're raised on the end, right? CO's line is consistent with a frush draw, and of course it'd never be a surprise to see someone donking the one card straight.

Calling a Raise w/78s in SB

Re: Opponents Playing Back at You
I agree with what you are saying, and maybe I wasn't clear in my original post, but I think that most of the time that we think a fish is playing back at us, they actually have good hands and it is...

Another time, which is more of secondary effect, is when you CR the flop HU with a draw. Assuming you don't get 3 bet, the CR may cause your opponent to give you a free card on the turn even though...

Looks like calling the bet trying to spike the Q or spade is the standard move to me.
Were you considering CRing the flop? I don't see the merits in that. I guess the aggressive opponent may 3...
