Re: Harrahs to screw up WSOP??

[ QUOTE ]
Sure. It's sort of like how NFL players are not going to show up for the Super Bowl because the half-time show, the pre-game stuff, and the overall hype surrounding the event overshadows...

Re: Passing out at the table

I was playing at Foxwoods a few weeks back and there was a guy at the table who was dozing between hands. He needed to be roused from his slumber almost every time the action got to him, usually to...

Re: My Trip Report

[ QUOTE ]
I observed the opposite. Some of the better players were lining up to play these for the cash. So you're going to encounter maybe 2 or 3 pretty good players per table in these one table...

Re: My Trip Report

[ QUOTE ]
I end the evening by playing a one-table $500 game (called this because they used to pay the winner $100 cash and 500 in foxwoods lammers). Anyway, things have changed, you pay 75 bucks...

Re: Foxwoods Hotel Suggestions?

One possible way to get the cost down on the Hilltop is through Priceline... if you select "North Stonington" and search for 3 stars (their rating for the Hilltop), there's a good chance that's what...

I'm UTG in the 4/8 game and find myself with red aces. I raise, knowing full-well that I'll get at least 4...
