Re: Another AA hand **yawn**

I like preflop and flop, I'd bet 250 on the turn but I see why you bet 125 and don't really hate it, and I think the river is great!

I think bones's line is g00t as well, actually, and I've played...

Re: Playing from the blinds: 74o

Me likey!!! I think this is a perfect spot to check-raise and I love the C/R All-in on the turn. Very nice sir!

Re: Curtains made me do it! #2

Actually I think pushing is worse than I originally eyeballed it. If there were 2000 less chips in play I think this push is mucho better, and I'm very curious to see what curtains did now.

Re: $55 - Ballsy? Stupid? Stupid Balls?

I actually really like the way you played it preflop though I think betting this flop is actually pretty good. I'd just put the 600 out there on the flop rather than turn.

Re: sngs go bye-bye for the night?

Maybe they're making all SNGs 90-minute levels starting with $10,000 in chips!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Curtains made me do it! #2

I think I'd push here. A lot of the time SB will fold hoping you pwn BB, and BB will fold nearly everything for us. Our hand is pretty dope too!

Re: Follow up

[ QUOTE ]
nice response (18% ROI after 3000 33's)

[/ QUOTE ]

Sorry man but how do you not know how to calculate pot odds after 3000 SNGs?

Also, it was more of a general comment, none of us...

Re: AKo EP level 3 push

I raise to 150 here always. Sure you've gotta play the hand out on the flop but that's not the end of the world is it? I raise a lot less than AK to 150 as well.

5000 800-chippers

Hello everyone!

I've never made a stats post before today and probably won't again until I get a similar sample size at the 1000-chip SNGs, but I just managed to add together 5012 of my tournies...

Re: Curtains: ITM

Yeah good points I certainly wouldn't be folding TT/AQ here, I think I was out of my mind thinking that now.

Re: Curtains: ITM

This guy's range is much larger than AT-AK, 88+ for a button minraise. I think a lot of players would fold TT and AQ here as well, especially at the $215s.

Re: Curtains: ITM

I like jamming here. The button folds nearly everything and then we get to fight shorty with a very nice overlay.

Re: $16 Turbo - I Still Think this was Right

[ QUOTE ]
Pushing likely coinflips versus pot committing raises early in a SNG is poor play imo.

Re: $16 Turbo - I Still Think this was Right

[ QUOTE ]

I'm not sure about Roland's ablility, but preflop is obvious to me. Postflop, while somewhat obvious, is definitely not equally obvious to me.

[/ QUOTE ]

Maybe that was too far...

Re: $16 Turbo - Shaking Off The Rust

Preflop is okay, 100-120 is better but you know that. I'd make a larger raise on the flop, maybe raise to to 600 or so, but I'm definitely calling that push. You'll see two clubs, 78, A6, etc.

Re: $16 Turbo Misplayed a Set

[ QUOTE ]
I don't even like the flop play. Betting 120 into a 360 pot is giving anyone odds to chase their flush. Raising low pairs in early position is definitely a leak.

[/ QUOTE ]

Re: $16 Turbo Misplayed a Set

[ QUOTE ]
I dont know if I misplayed this on the flop or the turn, but my initial reaction was of a smaller turn bet? I obviously have a flush draw to worry about.

[/ QUOTE ]

Actually the flop...
