How on earth can any sane person make this call on the turn unless they knew what was coming on the river?

I should have added that he's an average to below-average player, who makes lots of loose calls preflop and beyond.

More and more, I've been hearing about software that supposedly reveals opponents hands in real-time (obviously giving one the ultimate advantage).
