Re: Help, I\'m getting raped online (long)

This is how you do it:

As soon as you open up a table put it in the middle of the screen somewhere. Open one "empty note" for each player (you know the ones you get by right-clicking) decided that...

Re: Young man, desperately seeking line

Why just not call and let the donk in. He is labeled a donk for a reason. If he has the straight draw and hits while you hit flush he will give you all hos money. At least many donks do. If he hits a...

Re: 66 played passively live at MGM

[ QUOTE ]
Pump it or dump it on the flop. If you are that sure you are ahead on the flop and you are going to contiue, raise the flop. Otherwise fold.

66 played passively live at MGM

Warning: This hand is played extremely passively due to tilt. I however wonder how bad it actually is to play a hand like this.

Blinds are 2-4 or similar both me and villain have around $300...

I had my best poker momements when someone call me clueless after I just made the greatest move they will ever see and take a large chunk of their money. I one time pretended to have a flushdraw and...

Re: Please tell me, why do experienced players have \'Amnesia\'?

Well many players are not that experienced and feel very insecure about their ability so they need to pick on others. I never pick on newbies since I don't want them to feel unhappy or learn anything...

Re: Raising with SC\'s

I raise on occasion if I am first to enter the pot because if you raise and continuation bet the flop you often win it right there but mostly because if you hit a set of say sevens vs a...

Re: Continuation bets at 200$ NL

yes I always bet the same. depending on draw heavy board against plenty of opponents I could change that but like 95% I bet 1/2 pot.

Re: New at 200$ did I play this too weak?

I like the check turn call river because there are no draws and I might get a worse hand to bet river or even a non-existing hand to try to steal. However if I check turn and villain checks river...

Continuation bets at 200$ NL

Do you do them (against 1 opponent) and how much do you bet? I usually bet 1/2 pot and very very seldom don't do them at all.

More importantly can you make an automatic profit against continuation...

Re: Bullsh*t Equity?

I think you must adapt that to the opponent. Against some types of players you will not get a call in 1/100. And the image aspect is not that great. How often a session do you actually have the nuts...

Re: New at 200$ did I play this too weak?

Can present some thinking to make it more interesting

Preflop. Position and limpers make it nice to play T9

Flop. Villain might have the 9 the 55 or something similar as well as pocketpairs but...

New at 200$ did I play this too weak?

Villain is tight VPIP around 20% and raises around 3%. I have only seen a few hands which he played quite passive. Like checking top pair bad kicker when last to act.

His read on me may be that I...

Re: How much credit do you give to flopped flushes

Thanks for all the feedback people. You are of course right. I need to stop thinking that all my opponents are idiots and stop being an idiot myself and slow down on these flops.

Re: Switched from limit to NL and have some serious problems

Switched from limit to NL and have some serious problems

Why should you raise those sevens? How many opponents do you ideally want with a middle pocket?

Re: What is the lowest limit with sophisticated strategy?

I agree with Ike. If you cannot beat the lowest limits then you cannot (probably) beat the higher. But if you are a low limit player who wants to try sophisticaded strategies (it's easy to get bored...
