Re: I was completely at loss at what to do here. (JJ overpair)

[ QUOTE ]
I fold this in a heartbeat. Even if Villain is very tight and very aggressive, I don't expect him to 3-bet qq.

I think your probably beat here. I would pop it up more pf though to make...

Re: Why do you play no-limit? Why do you play limit?

[ QUOTE ]
Limit unless very short handed is checkers, where NL is chess.
You can be a lot more creative with NL and genearally the cards don't even matter.
NL is a lot more fun, more...

Re: I was completely at loss at what to do here. (JJ overpair)

This is really tough. Push doesnt look good on flop because we expect all the worse hands to fold. Calling and leading turn isnt so hot either because a turn lead will pretty much commit you....

Re: How is my KK overpair line here?

A solid player will see your river push as a whiffed c/r on turn and fold. A donkey will call you with a wide range of holdings. Which is our villain?

I also really dislike trying to c/r an...

Re: 2/4 Folding a flush when board pairs on river

I wasnt really trying to predict his hand so much as demonstrate his range is still pretty wide on the river. I agree AA is unlikely.

Re: How is my KK overpair line here?

I figure you are going for C/R all in on turn. Because villain is unknown, I do not like it, and would lead the turn, especially to charge him if he is drawing.

Re: 2/4 Folding a flush when board pairs on river

I think you played this hand like crap. Villain could have AA, JA, (w/ a missed club), who knows. Id either block this river or c/call depending on my opponent's tendencies, but usually I block...

Re: Better line for flopped bottom 2pair, please!

[ QUOTE ]
Does the villain have a habit of limping with strong aces in middle position?

I think the only hand you're going to see here that will beat you is A7, 77 or possibly A5. Is the villain...

Re: Two pair on a connected/suited flop

This is an easy PSB. If you are raised push, ir smoothcalled, it all depends on how many callers and the turn, but usually I am getting the rest in on the turn.

Re: tough 55 hand

Villain's line really looks like he backed into a flush draw on the turn, maybe with a gutshot or a pair too. I wouldnt really worry about KK here, as its very unlikely, but QQ is a possibility....

Re: tough 55 hand

I think villain could of easily backdoored into a flush with hearts and think you have a king or something. Is he the type to semibluff this turn? He could also have something like AQs and have...

Re: The the monosuit flop, can I call a raise with the ace?

I think hero's implied odds are negligible and he should push the flop or fold (Folding being much much better).

Re: Two hands meet flop resistance, QKo, AKo, Top pairs

Im not deep enough to b/f in hand 2. Its either push, C/C, or C/F.

Please say why you think one is better than the other.

Re: Two hands meet flop resistance, QKo, AKo, Top pairs

On both of these hands I was bet/folding the turn, however, you will see that the plan did not go as well as I hoped, as villain's smoothcalled. I could prob bet a dollar more on each flop, but the...

Re: Huh? Limp Reraise, from the third limper

Raising Jacks is standard with any amount of limpers from ANY position 6 handed. If you arent raising jacks 100% of the time you are leaving money on the table
