Re: Flush Draw Out of Position

Stupid question: how does your line change if the flop comes

Does check-raising become all bad?

Re: tweedle-dee, tweedle-dum (A4)

I agree with you. I don't think I'm likely beat (until the river raise).

But could you explain why you think betting is clearly better than checking? What have these two been calling down with?...

tweedle-dee, tweedle-dum (A4)

MP1 is 81/5/1.1 after just 21 hands
MP2 is 82/14/0.6 after 77
Both go to showdown about 50% of the time.

best cardroom w/ rakeback question

Of the cardrooms that still offer rakeback, which would you guys say has the best (most numerous) 2/4 ring games and allows multitabling?

Thanks in advance.

Re: July Goals Post

About a week ago, I lost a big pot on the river that I might've won if I would've raised the flop. I swore, punched my file cabinet, fell out of my chair and hit my ass on the hardwood floor. Bruised...

Re: the new 3-6 full games

I just made the jump to 5/10 full, and I'm glad the past few days have prepared me for looking for tables. Its party, so its all pretty profitable, you just need to do some searching....

I havnt played 3-6 full in the past 2 days since 6max opened up. How are the full games since the change? Have they dried up a ton?

Quick preflop question (88 in the BB)

Say hero is in the BB with 88. MP3 (30/10/1.5) open raises. Button (solid TAG) re-raises. Does BB get involved, or is this a no-brainer fold?

Now move MP3 to CO. Does that turn it into a call for...

I donk bet 66 and I don\'t feel good about it.

CO is 69/3/1 after 50 hands. UTG is 29/11/1.5 after 100.

Given the way I played (and I know there are other lines here like fold preflop/raise the flop) is the fold okay? Also, if you'd like to...

I hate smallpots II (AJo)

I know the pot is pretty insignificant, but these are the hands that cause me the most grief.

Villain here is a TAG over about 60 hands. The only other read I have is that he's check-raised twice...

Re: I know I overplayed this, when do I hit the brakes?

I fail to understand why you don't want to raise KQo preflop. The reasoning that you want more callers in makes no sense. KQo is a multiway hand? Also, hands that dominate you are going to...

Calling with KQo preflop

It was a loose table. Not that I think it matters much in this hand but SB is 41/10/2 after 70 hands.

Mostly my question is about calling w/ unsuited AQ, AJ AT, KQ, KJ, KT, QJ in late position...

I hate small pots (QJo)

I've only got 10 hands on UTG and UTG+2 but they've both got VPIPs around 70% with postflop aggression under 1.00.

(77) with four to a straight on board

SB is 73/7/.89 after just 40 hands.
Who plays the turn differently? How about the river? Villain has been very passive so the stop'n go is a little alarming with four to a straight on board, though...

(77) Turn puts three 2s on board

I've only been at the table with Button for 10 hands and he's seen 8 flops. I haven't noticed unusual aggression from him in that short time.

Does the cap keep everyone from betting the river?...
