is this a bet/fold river situation?

Button is a tough player - 24/18. I've been watching him - no mistakes that I've seen and very straightforward. Given this read, how's my play (a) on the flop, and (b) on the river (can I bet/fold...

Re: Adjusting my SB play in 6 max games....

Let me preface this by saying that (1) I am fairly new here, and (2) I play a 30/20/2.2 style, so my answers will probably be considerably different than many of the respected posters around here. ...

Re: AA- How would you have played it? (Especially the River!!)

let me preface this with 'I'm new here' but, I think you can re-raise the flop on this. Let the limpers pay for their draws. If BB re-raises (could have AK, Kx, Qx, or a couple of diamonds, all of...

Re: 10/20 Value bet river 2?

I don't think a worse hand is calling here. I would check and try to induce a bluff from A-high.

Re: Welcome Lurkers

I've been lurking for probably 4 months now and just started posting recently. Like some have mentioned, it's tough offering an opinion when you think its hard for anyone to take a newbie seriously....

how to play this top pair/mid-kicker

UTG is about 60/12. BB is Ok to decent - 34/18. My plan was to c/r the flop, at the same time thinking a free card wouldn't be a disaster. action after BB's flop bet left me feeling like I did...

too fancy?

this was an interesting hand. UTG is the primary reason I'm at the table, weighing in at a beautiful 55/1.6/0.6. Button is a serial cold-caller who is a thinker post-flop and knows how to fold -...

i dont understand the river c/r from BB. are you that transparent that he knows you're betting for value here w/ a variety of hands and he's trying to push you off A high UI or something?...

Re: 2+2er played me like a fiddle (would you have done difft?)

as I see it, AK is really the only holding I would care about drawing, and even then he's only got three outs, which I don't mind given that I may be crushed already.

EDIT: KQ is a problem for me...

Re: 2+2er played me like a fiddle (would you have done difft?)

I figure with his three-betting hand range out of the BB, I'm either WA/WB when that Q hits. my thinking was I wanted to get to showdown for one bet at least/most. This of course did not happen.

2+2er played me like a fiddle (would you have done difft?)

I'm a 29/18/2.5 (with about 1.8 AF on the river) guy, and prob not good enough post-flop to play that way. Villain is a 2+2er whos SN is the same as his identity here (would love for him to comment...

Fold.

Too good a chance you'll hit and be dominated anyhow. Makes it even more difficult that you're OOP. I don't mind calling with this hand...

how badly did I mess up each street (and preflop)?

good enough for a river c/r?
