I take a couple of months off and all has changed?

I take a break from Poker for a couple of months and all has changed at Party. Gone are juicy .5/1 full tables, in their place is a mountain of 6 max.

One would have hoped that 2/4 would have...

Re: Good laydown?

I like this laydown. One of the biggest leaks in my game that I have worked on recently is folding after a raise and re-raise in front of you on the turn, post heavy flop action. Realize that it...

Re: Bubble hands

In order...

Push in hand 1 (only about 3BB left, must push here)

Fold in hand 2 (good fold, u show strength, other big stack pushes back, don't tangle with him)

Push in hand 3 (u must push...

Re: Calling All-ins

Hand 1, with the blinds at a relatively low amount, and with your stack at a healthy level, there is no incentive to call an all in with KQ. In fact, it is almost always a mistake to call a raise...

Re: My own worst enemy

I actually suffer from a variant of this, I start telling myself "well I have pot odds". And call.

Ok great, I just called off one third of my stack because i was a 33% favorite to win 120% of...

Re: good push?

I like it. Less than 10BB. Against 2 limpers. A great time to steal your own blind and the rest of the money that's in the pot. I'd be very suprised if you didn't have the best hand here. So to...

Re: Crazy loose early in the tourney.

The pre-flop call is fine.

I found myself in a similar situation last night, with AK and the board QJ. I lead out with a pot sized bet and folded to an all in and a call coming back to me.

I...

Re: Leak?

I typically open raise KQ from MP on party levels 1 and 2. So far about a 75% win rate with it. I win between 30-200 chips per hand at these levels. Low variance, high chip return don't lead me to...

Re: What do you do when you\'re bullied in the blinds?

I think you are aproaching this from the wrong angle. When it is not your blind, you should be forcing the action with a couple of all in's yourself. Loosen up your hand range to do this...

Take the free card?

I usually take an aggressive tact and bet my strong draws but wanted to hear some opinions. I'm sure my pre-flop raise may concern some, but in a field of limpers I felt comfortable with the play. ...

Re: Take a stand or fold to ITM?

Here's where a read on UTG helps. But I think u miss the other option.

Hero calls getting 2-1 and sees the flop which hits him at exactly the same rate. I don't like a push here since it is an...

Re: You called 120 with 22? Terrible!

I don't like it. It's the 6th hand of the tournament. You are a dog to the range of hands that would raise here, in the absence of reads, from typical opposition (AA-TT, AK,AQ maybe a couple of...

losingist loser that ever lost (no content)

Re: 20+2 hand - getting too fancy here?

How about a smooth call on the flop? If he has a ten, then he may lead out on the turn if a number of cards show up. Such as a... Ten, a card lower than a ten, if his kicker shows up and he gets...

Post flop - You are in the money...

Re: Good steal situation?

I actually would consider raising your KJ more of a value bet in this situation. Odds are you have the best hand. Easy raise to 3xBB.

I agree with you schwza...

Fold pre-flop. Raise to 800 after the flop. Call the all in.

Looks like hero got outdrawn. I'm guessing the Ace helped villain here and gave him a higher two...

I was there once with...

If you raise your TT to 150...

40% of the time all opponents will fold (I think this...
