Re: Tournament Hand Evaluation

This is hard to answer without chips counts. Also the buy in would help to understand the players betters since you have no real read here.

1.) Raise the limper to 1000 not 600.
2.) without...

Re: An interesting J6s hands.

This squeeze play won't work. I expect the whole table to call. MP2 is getting 3-1 odds to call, Co then gets 4.5 odds and so on. What you have done is create a huge pot with J6. This is not a...

Re: Another FW tournement O/8 hand

normally in a $500 tourney, i wouldn't raise with that hand after an utg limper since your hand lacks high card strength. However it this situation given your chip count, an excellent low hand and...

Re: O8 raise to isolate w/ VERY low hand

This is a clear fold. The UTG big stack limps, his chance of folding to a limit raise is zero. This hand is a horrible horibble isolation hand. If you can't fold this hand in this spot, you...

Re: Looking for a good restaurant in Boston

Grill 23 is very similiar to Capital Grille in terms of food, ambience, and price. I've been a few times.

Both teams are overrated IMHO. I'm thinking SD will give the Pats all they want this week if they can play like they did last night.

lol, are u from SD or are you living in a dream world?

Re: Did Johnny Chan 4-bet and fold to a 5-bet?

yes, the fold is after the flop. I remember seeing the flop on the table but don't recall what the cards were.

Re: How often should you muck A2 pre flop?

In low limit games, I don't lay down A2 before the flop. In 08 tourneys, I will lay down A2 before the flop when the game is tight and I have nothing with my A 2 (like A 2 7 9 and not suited) There...

Re: Why A2 low is beaten by A3 in this hand (newbie)

in your example, it's a 3 5 beating a 2 6 for low. The A counterfeits both your hands.

Re: This hand made me sick :(

folding the river is a mistake, you win enough times to make a call correct. Turn bet is fine with only 1 other player in the hand.

Re: Is o8 a limpers game?

Most posters seem to play in low limit games where many people see the flop and raising doesn't make the game tighter. In these games it is correct to raise before the flop for value. Very good...

I understood your raising before the flop but I don't like the raise with this hand. Your raise gives people the correct odds to chase as well. This is the kind of hand you want to play...

Re: Chasing

It's correct to chase (six players in a raised pot) because of all your outs and the chance to scoop, you have backdoor nut lows, backdoor flush and a gutshot for a scoop.

As for second question...
