Re: Is this as interesting as i think it is?

I just call.

Try to give him a hand that he raises the river with that isn't a flush... TT? If he's got AA/KK/QQ/JJ he's raising the turn for sure. The check on the flop is consistent with his...

Ugly Live 10/20 hand...play it any differently?

I've got a bit of a LAGGY image at a pretty weak/tight table..

Dealt A/images/graemlins/heart.gifA/images/graemlins/club.gif on the button

Re: Totally Screwed Up AQo

Your lack of early betting costed you chips in the end.

If you raise preflop and he 3-bets, you can call and then check-raise him on the flop. If he 3-bets the flop you know your up against AK...

Re: 20-40 at the mirage-

I like raising the flop because you are solidifying the fact that you have an overpair and you want everyone to know it.

This way if you get check-raised on the turn you can be sure that the...

Live players, BB/100 rate questions..

From searching/reading past posts I've come to the realization that a real solid player could have an expected BB/100 rate of roughly 2.5. So playing live $10/$20 we're looking at $50/100 hands, or...

Re: Drawing to overcards on the flop? Just a check-up.

I'm fairly new to limit hold'em and by no means an expert but I like the raise here. There's a very good chance the BB has 8-anything coming out of the BB and is just trying to protect it. Raising...
