2-4 Stars, 6 handed.

BB is a calling-station who will call any bet with any gutshot draw, Hero has 500 and is MP, MP+1 just sat down has 400, Button has Hero covered and seems like a reasonable...

Re: Post Flop Play

Edit: remember he only has to call your push 30% of the time to make it +EV on check raising a turn, and thats assuming nothing goes wrong.

Re: An observed AA hand...

It makes sense to me that betting the river is better than what bloodyromance suggest of check-raising the turn or check-folding the turn. If he does have a low flush by the turn, calling the turn...

Re: AKo UTG

yeah but he will also fold if I make a substantial bet.

I feel like stopping and going will help me get the most in this situation and lose the least. What would he push with that I am beating?

Re: 5/5 game. How can i play this better?

well, i think folding preflop isnt such a great idea because these guys were calling down with so many bad hands and i would more likely stack them than me. but after reading freemoney's post, i feel...

Re: 5/5 game. How can i play this better?

I was more afraid of 3s or 4s full than a higher J. I felt like I was definately beat at the river based on the fact he wouldnt bet a bad jack on the flop 6 handed in early positon that strongly and...

normally I would too however theres a good chance that the button is just putting in a continuation bet and the SB would do this with a slightly less than premium holding, like a week Q. Give that...

You obviously cant do this because you'll get pushed around to much....but if you folded EVERY time you got min raised, you would be +EV.
