Re: FLUSH!!!!!!!!!

I think A/images/graemlins/heart.gif K is a fairly possible (likely?) holding here.

I probably call the raise and evaluate the river. If it isn't a scary card I can't imagine folding.

I would...

Re: Live Game Situation - How do I adjust?

So, um, when you're gonna have position the rest of the hand, you have a shot at isolating a LAG before anyone else gets to play their cards...

Re: 5/10 NL SH--chip spewing? (deep stacks)

Flop call when villain has $1,565 behind is ugly. Maybe your 4 and 6 are outs, but you clearly were gonna commit your whole stack on the turn if you hit (cause you did), and I don't know how many...

Re: 10/20: 77 turns set in unraised multi-way pot

I almost never lead out with aces here since there are so few holdnings that calls a bet in my games.

With four opponents in an unraised pot? I can think of a lot of hands that will play along. ...

Re: Bottom 2 OOP on drawheavy board

How can I play this better?

Lead the flop hoping to get it all in on the spot? You don't think one of those guys will like that flop?

Re: Really good post Josh, now how about the results.....n/m

Definitely makes sense, thanks for clarifying.

If anyone wants to weigh in on their thoughts about why they would call/fold EV neutral hands on the river aside from what I noted above, I think it...

Re: Watching this years WSOP the final straw.

Donkfest, maybe...

I'll just say this. Anyone that thinks they can play 5-6 days straight for 16+ hours per day and then sit down and play another 24 - 30 hour session with millions of dollars at...

Re: Really good post Josh, now how about the results.....n/m

Allow me to bump up what I thought was a very interesting thread with a quick question.

I agree the decision is extremely close. +EV or -EV I think has to be based on the assumption of # times...

Re: 5/10 6-max: My opponent sucks at poker

I have made some weird plays because I misread the board.

heh... As long as we're going with the no content theme...

I play in a local limit game on Friday nights and had a hand come up as...

Re: 2/4 NL...... flopped full house slow play........

Everyone already said to raise the flop, I agree.

Assuming you won, you should send a thank you card to villain for double potting the turn which allowed you to get it all in.

Re: Live 1/2NL Deeep...Boat Interesting river

What value does 3 betting river have?

You think he folds AQ to a three bet?

Re: 5/10, double gutshot and flush draw on flop, jam or wait?

I like calling the flop simply cause even though you have so many outs, a lot of them should be nicely hidden. Great chance to get paid off a ton of money if you catch a straight, and probably get...

Re: Live 1/2NL Deeep...Boat Interesting river

Scared of TT? QQ?

If he'll call you with AA this is an easy push IMO. If not, but he'll call with AQ, I probably still push. I think this move and the way he acted kinda screams AQ...

Re: 10-25 AA

FWIW, small sets will often jam on the flop when they put their opponents on top pair or overpairs. I think raising to 1500 is probably more standard than pushing, but there are a lot of tricky guys...
