Re: How do I play AKs here, pre- and post-flop?

I was on business in Omaha. Nearby is Council Bluffs, Iowa, which has a few riverboat casinos around. I was at the Harrah's playing. Thanks for the tips.

Re: How do I play AKs here, pre- and post-flop?

Re: How do I play AKs here, pre- and post-flop?

there's at least $212 in there right now since i raised to $40, there were 4 callers, and the original raiser folded.

How do I play AKs here, pre- and post-flop?

$100 NL cash game, blinds 1/2. I have everyone easily outchipped with $500 (closest is $200).

9-handed. I'm in middle position with AhKh. UTG+2 raises to $12. I re-raise to $40 (any problem with...

Re: 2nd Pair and Decent Flush Draw after Flop. Did I play this poorly?

if i have him on only 1 pair (not QQ, KK, AA), i'm slightly favored in the hand. considering there's already ~20 or so in the pot, don't i have the right pot odds to call?

Re: 2nd Pair and Decent Flush Draw after Flop. Did I play this poorly?

i was about 50.4% after the flop. i think my EV is positive, but it's much harder to call an all-in than to go all-in.

Re: What do I do here with a straight flush draw?

i guess the good news is that even though i lost that hand, i recovered and finished 3rd.

most of the advice i've received has been to keep the pot small...oops!

Re: What do I do here with a straight flush draw?

Everyone folds to me. I'm on the button with JJ and 9600...
