He would most likely have raised preflop with any good pocket pair, in this case AA, KK, QQ. He would have kept raising you with AA, KK, or QQ throughout the hand, unless he was extreme slow playing....

Hand 2 was played well, but I would have raised off the flop with 2 pocket face cards and a chance at a straight, or SF.
