Re: List of bet names, any more?

A bet for value is usually on the river and is the largest amount you can get your opponent to pay off on his weaker hand with. (I'm sure it can be explained better tho) /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Re: river decision

agree with the others, I like underbetting if you think UTG+1 is very likely get aggro and will raise flop/turn but as it's a new unknown table I don't like it here. It just looks weak but not weak...

Re: Nut Straight on Turn

Off the top of my head, I'd guess he only needs to be freerolling about 25% of the time for this to be a fold. I'll let someone else work out the real number.

Re: Poker gives a lot, but takes a lot too if you\'re not careful...(long)

Good post.

You may have thought about this before but if not I would urge you to maybe think about taking the £ abroad to somewhere like Thailand/S America and do things in the community there...

Re: 5/10 live NL, flopped set facing C/R on turn

You need to know if he bets his draws like this and what does he think you would do with TPGK here.

If...

Re: KK hand - am I weak or goot?

UTG must have QQ/JJ. I would check the turn also and wait to see what he does on the river. When he moves in it's an easy laydown.
Not really a lot you could have done about it most other lines you...
