Re: Complete FT hand history -- Stars 45k rebuy

There have been plenty of times I wished I could chat during the final stages of a tourney to find it was turned off.

This is a perfect example of when it should be. That grinder guy had no...

Re: Rebuy and Stack Size Strategy? --> good M but poor Q

[ QUOTE ]
I will try and say this as diplomatically as possible. I apologize in advance if it comes off the wrong way.

I'm always amazed at how people can throw out Q and M without fully...

Rebuy and Stack Size Strategy? --> good M but poor Q

I've tried to search and haven't found anything on this topic, so apologies if this has already been discussed heavily.

When playing in rebuys, the dominant early strategy by the field seems to be...

Yes, it is a dirty rotten ridiculous curse. It gets people to call off their chips with King-high, suck out on you and then you can't let the hand go for months afterward. Then you lose...

Re: Stinking Donk Re-raise from the button!

I smell Aces or Kings. I'm not usually one to get paranoid, but the min raise PF is the biggest tell of a high pocket pair (and usually not AK) I know of.

Re: Bottom 2 pair facing 2 raises

I won a hand in similar situation. Fairly early in the tourney, got a cheap BB flop and hit bottom two pair. Long story short, got two callers all-in, one with flush draw one with straight draw and...

Re: SB pushes for 19xBB and you have QJs

How willing are you to gamble for 1/3 your stack? I'd guess he either got an over on you or maybe a small PP. Either way you're at best a coin flip and probably need to hit.

I'd let it go.

Re: Overplayed AA or just lucky opponent draw?

As a point of clarification, I'd raised T$1000 a few times when opening so while the consensus seems to be it was an overbet, it wasn't an USUSUAL bet size. i.e. larger than previous ones.
