In "Gambling For A Living" our favorite theorists make a brief reference to using simulators to bet baseball. Does anybody here do this? What kind of software, etc.? What's the method?

The best I can tell Dallas should be like a 3.5 or 4 point favorite.
What would ya'll think about betting Dallas and buying it down to 2.5 for a -120 vig on the play? +EV or sucker play?

NFL Home Field Advantage
When handicapping NFL games, how many points do you allow for home field advantage? I've had decent results allowing 2-3 points, but I have no idea if this would be theoretically correct.
