Re: Limp-reraised. JJ overpair.
Those of you that said to raise his flop bet and fold to a reraise, what amount would you raise to? I don't think I can make a good size raise here without becoming pot-committed given villain's...

Re: Implied value and draws
His call is bad I think. He has alot of ground to make up on later streets whenever he makes his hand, and if he knows he is winning your entire stack every time he gets there it's still not that...

Well, hes really really loose so that probably means he's inexperienced. He's also very passive which means he probably scares easy. Do you really think this...

Re: Folding big-slick pre-flop
IMO you are just giving these people too much credit. Against 2 tight, reasonable opponents, yes I'm thinking of folding here. But generally, without a read, I don't think my opponents at Party 25...

Re: Is this a NL gaybet?
If you think there is a chance you are ahead and villain is also pretty passive then I don't mind raising here to about 20. What I mean by passive is that he won't reraise you here with an overpair,...

Re: Fast Betters Are Always Bluffers.
A straddle is basically a bet you make blindly. Being live means it is treated as an actual blind, letting you act last on that round as the BB normally would.

Re: Why move up?
Just decide what you want. If it's money/hourly rate then go for whatever you make the most at. If you want a challenge and to feel like you are advancing as player, then moving up might be better....

Re: \"Value Bet\" or take the free showdown?
Against this opponent I am trying really hard to get a river bet out there . His stats say he is extremely passive, so assuming you haven't actually seen him make any huge bluffs, you can probably...

Re: JJ keep firing?
Maybe the converter made an error but if you only started the hand with 13 dollars, that leaves you 5 on the turn. If that's true then your flop bet pretty much pot-committed you . I would just...

Re: recomended reading?
I wouldn't say there's any bible for any specific NL games. Somewill say Brunson's section of Super/System is a must read for deepstack NL. Ciaffone and Reuben's(sp?) books is good for mid-stakes...

Re: \"Value Bet\" or take the free showdown?
Easy easy easy easy bet for me. The guy is extremely loose preflop and passive postflop. That combo leaves about 1000 different hands that he could have that are calling you down here, the only...

Hit and running is just worthless IMO. I don't really understand what point people are trying to serve by doing it. If you think it keeps people from getting reads on you, don't bother because at...

I have 2 2001FP's and I play games constantly. I've never seen any ghosting at all on EQ1, EQ2, Guild Wars, or Far Cry. I actually had a CRT hooked up side by side with 1 of these while I was...

There's alot of things wrong with this I think.
Let's look at the hand as you played it. Your lack of a reraise preflop let pretty much any hand that wants it a chance at cracking your kings. ...
