Re: Any lessons to share at 2/4?
[ QUOTE ]
IMO every time you move up your edge gets smaller and your winrate will go down in relation to that.
[/ QUOTE ]
This is exactly right. To say is the same as 1-2 is absurd. People...

Re: Any lessons to share at 2/4?
[ QUOTE ]
You'll hate my reply, as it's nowhere near as specific as you like, but here goes. 2/4 is exactly the same as 1/2. The big jump is .5/1 -> 1/2. The jump to 2/4 is such a cake walk. You can...

Am i the only person who classes a fish as loose passive? Villian here looks bit loose aggressive here with 18% pfr.
Anyway... These turn bets are always something to think about. You only have to...

Re: None of this felt right. AJo
I'm def folding this pf. Cold calling with off suited cards is never a good idea, especially when you have no idea of the raising standards of the CO.
Think the flop call is fine because of the...

Hand 1
Some people limp in with KQo UTG, however i personally like raising with it to try and knock out some ace rags depending on the texture of the game. Not too sure about the cap. I think flop,...

Hit trips but not liking it
SB = LAP, UTG = LPP
Normally when someone checks, 3 bets it's easy to assume they've made the set or in this case fh. I know this so was i correct in either drawing to the ace, or calling down...

Re: JJ, Reraised by a TAG

when believing in your read, this is a good time NOT to cap preflop.
i don't like the c/r and here's why: the board is ragged, and if you're up against a premium pocket pair, there is...

Re: JJ, Reraised by a TAG

why check raise the flop?
[/ QUOTE ]
To isolate all the limpers for 2 bets. Didnt want them stickin around with aces or kings or anythin else they mite get lucky with.

How tag of a TAG is he?
Because you can add 99 and others to his hand range if he raises preflop alot.
