Re: Losing EV not changing your nickname?

Re: Limped pot 100-200

This is definetely a 'mix it up hand'. Sometimes you need to bet and sometimes check-raise.

I would BET more often than not....

Re: JTs on button, crazy river action.

Fold

ABC looks like he flopped a set.
UTG looks like he has a flush.

check to induce a bluff?

[/ QUOTE ]

I don't get this part. It makes it sound like you are sure you have the hand won (which based on the title I'm guessing you did win)

If the...

Re: Let\'s get a 15-30 game going

I wasn't around or I would have. It would be fun to do something like this on a semi-regular basis.

Canterbury weekend of 12/9

Thinking of going this weekend but really not interested if none of the 2+2'ers will be there. (I get bored with live poker)

Schneids, BK? Will you be there if so when?

Re: 200/400 bellagio vs liz lieu

Maybe she'll call me with AQ that would have checked behind or bluff raise me and I get 2 bets. Isn't that obvious? Then again sometimes I'll have to put in 1 or 2 bets when I could have...

Of course he thinks the river bet makes himself look weak, that is why he called the raise.

Re: Are Winrates Normally Distributed?

A discrete function will never become perfectly normal if the underlying discrete function is not normal. It will however become MORE normal as you increase the number of independent trials.

- You bet he makes a crying call
- You check he makes a bluff bet

In the new style FCR {}

Preflop FCR{0, 50%, 50%}
Flop B, C/C, C/R {33%, 33%, 33%}

I think I'm in the lead on all of these but this is a good spot to mix things up. Because I can now play SO...

Re: AQs. NASTY HAND. PARTY 1/2.

But I think you have to fold to the raise on the flop. (90%+ of the time)

Turn - Check...
