Re: showing AK whos the boss.

If hes the type that will call with overcards ace high, perfect. My default line.

If hes the type that gets scared easy with overpairs or even TPTK, then im checking through. Reads are nice.

Re: Missed draw, big pot

So you ended up betting and folded to the raise?

Im ok with that line since the K is a decent scare card and you might be able to get him to lay down a small pair.

Re: How Far To Take Straight

call down. the two call stations are likely giving you overlay for your call down and the solid player could easily be raising two pair or a set because it looks to me like hes trying to clear out...

Re: how does playing multiple tables effect bankrole???

there isnt really any difference other then your winrate should be higher if you just concentrate on one table so the downswings arent going to be as bad or come as often...theoretically.

Re: KQo river pairs board

I like a turn raise as well. Your hand is extremely strong. Although theres good reason to fear a set, I still think your more often up against a weird two pair or overplayed K. if i get 3bet im...

Re: Check/call, check/call, bet line w/JJ

Your better off check calling the river.

I dunno if i even like continuing past the flop against this sort of opponent. But that just seems too weak tight.

Re: Fold to Turn 3bet?

I dont think youve noticed that hes raising from the CO. He doesnt necessarily have any kind of hand here.

And I am charging him on the turn.

Raise the flop. Call the turn bet. more than likely you are beat, though.

QQ heads up two BB to see the river. Why waste BBs on the turn when u could be beat.

If it was to raise any turn undercard and call a 3-bet, I could see that, but the K makes things different.
