A plea for help

Been on a bad B&M run this week. Typical stuff....gutshots, flush draws, rivers for 2 pr., etc... Anyway I have been reading posts here long enough to know that my -50BB downswing last night over...

Re: bump (n/m)

If he is indeed on a flush draw, why on earth would you give him a chance at a free card?

Bet the turn, call down if raised.

Re: I Ran into Trouble with ATo

In my opinion, the turn CR in this particular situation, usually means 2 pr. or a set - nevertheless, I play it the same, to announce you won't allow floaters to take advantage of you.

Re: On Having a Plan Postflop Heads Up

Awesome post.

I read this post saying, "Yes, that is how I think as well"

To some degree, I do this PF, but I think all hands basically begin to unfold once the flop hits. Your basic plan is a...

Re: Ever river a flush and just call?

This looks fine. Do NOT raise the river, especially with BB (who called 3 on the flop !?!) in there. Higher flush is possible - remote, but possible. We are behind several hands here with an...

I would have threebet the flop and if only called led the turn and slowed down if BB raised on the turn

If capped on the flop, call down.

Re: Another TPTK hand

You definitely need to raise this flop - why let BB turn or river 2 pair or trips after calling along with middle or bottom pair because you didn't force him out?

Get rid of BB with a raise. ...

If you call the turn, you really should bet/fold the river.

Re: Folding Too Much: Part 1

I really have a hard time laying down PPs short handed.

That being said, I want to show this down. I check behind on the turn, which might be giving Villian a free card, but I don't mind a free...

Re: AKo - I still can\'t play Overcards!

This pot is not that small, plus we have position. UTG did not cap the flop, it makes me think AQ, AJ, KQ, JJ-99, maybe QQ or AK (if he's weak).

UTG's flop bet makes it 10SB. I'd really like to...

I thought for a while, and did not think I was good 1 in 11 times, so I mucked when it was two cold to me on the river.

Set o\' nickels

5/10 B&M last night.

This was a pretty good table. I had planned on leaving early, but hung around for an extra 3-4 hours because I had a great seat, lots of bad limpers on my right, tight on my...

You can't fold this. If a J falls on the river, you probably chop the pot.

If you are going to fold for one more on the river, why would you call the turn?

You definitely have the odds to draw to 6 outs on the turn.

I'd say your 4 clean J outs and 2 K outs (although those are no good if Villain is holding pocket aces, but you can't put him on one hand and one hand only, even if he did cap preflop)...

These are all...
