Re: Top-Two Pair and Heavy Action

Call, you only lose to JJ and split with AJ.

I would expect to see A3, AK, AQ pretty often.

How about 3000+ BB high stake game...

Sorry if it is an offtopic, but I found it interesting.

Negreanu is going to play with other 'big boys' - Harman, Bronson & Co. The game is 300/600 NLHE, min buy-in is $100,000, but the guys might...

mulberry1 is not matusow, isn't he?

Though mulberry seems to be a regular in this game, is he a long term winner or not?

Re: Can you lose 5 buyins in HU in one hour and still be a good player

The game is still going and it looks as if mulberry1 still does not believe strong bets from KKF at all...

it is now 2 hours and over 6 buy-ins... pretty good hourly rate, I would say...

Re: Strange hand, went on reads.

Why to get crazy with TPTK only with unknown in the hand?

Call and see the turn.

Before looking to the answers

my guests for hands are:

Bluffer - JT
Unknown - KTh

Re: Top two in BB and so confused

looks not too bad, though I would probably CR weak (50?) on river. Will not be suprised to split with MP.

Weird hand though.

Re: Are you chicken?

Fold here, his KK/99 are killing you.

I would raise turn and try to win/fold it there.

Re: Call this river?

Given your action, fold on river, but you have no clue what he had the way you played it.

Reraise to about 60 on flop, and it will be much easier to figure out where you are.

Re: KK on the button. Yes, I tuck....

Flop - why not raise about 20 here?

Turn - raise here, what are you waiting for?

River - raise 15-20.

Re: Not often in this situation, line check

Flop - do not mini-raise here, just call, I do not expect to see a set there, but Kx or/and good flush draw - very easily.
Turn - he is scared or slowplaying flush. Bet about 35, call his push

Re: How do you think i played this

Preflop - weird mini-raise on your side, just call.

Flop - with no other info check/raise good amount. Push is unwise here, you are called by sets/str8/donks only.

Re: 100nl 6max lost on the turn

I push here and accept losing to sets.

BTW, 40/5/2 is definitely not loose for 6max - it is about normal. Loose are gufs with 60+ stats.

Re: hmmm??

If you both have pairs (not the same rank), than your chances to hit quads:

2*1*2*1*44/C(48, 5) = 1 in 9729

Re: 7 pocket rockets, 1 game

A chance to get AA is p = 4/52 * 3/51
To get it 5 times out of 7 is P = p^5 * (1-p)^(7-5) * C(7,5) = 1 in 17,059,632,174 times

Re: Pockets hitting set or quads?

Your chance to NOT hit your set or better is C(48,3)/C(50,3). So the chance to hit is:
1 - C(48, 3)/C(50,3) = 11.7%
