Re: First Post: Hand from Stars 500K

I think this is a fold, even with those good odds. If someone sees a raise & a reraise in front of them and still decides to push. . . I think they show you AA-QQ 90% of the time.

nothing wrong with taking a flop here. i dont like pushing, as it nullifies position, and he could have AJ beat. has he called large reraises before? if he hasnt, i still think its a...

If he's done this to me 3 times already, then I'm not raising his BB here without a hand that I'm ready to push over his reraise with. What was your plan when you raised?

Huge stack vs aggressive Chip Leader (Party 500k).

This has been bothering me quite a bit. How would you guys play this?

Last night's 500k on Party. We're down to about 150 players & I have the 7th largest stack at 65k. The Chip Leader is 3...

out at 154.
Raised w/ AJs in the CO, BB (Chip leader) comes over the top like he has done to me 3 previous times. I poosh. . . he calls w/ KK.
65k to 0 in 3 seconds flat.

Re: Party 500k

4th break: 48k.
Chip leader just sat down 3 seats to my left. That puts a damper on things.

Re: Quick $500 Foxoods report

I got busted somewhere around 650ish. Difficult blind structure to accumulate chips unless you’re getting cards. I was just staying afloat by stealing blinds once they hit 50/100. That’s what...

dealing with minraises against your BB @ later levels (55s)

It seems like this happens ALL the time:

(Hypothetical hand)
Blinds 100/200

UTG 2000
Button 4000
SB 2000
BB (Hero) 2000

Is there a noticeable difference jumping from 55s to 109s?

I'm planning on moving up to the 109s this week. Should I expect a drop in my current ROI? Does opponents' skill level change much?
Feedback from some others who have made this transition would...

Re: AQ in BB

I dunno. . . if he's a tight raiser, the only hands you're ahead of are JJ/TT. You're way behind QQ/KK/AA/AK. Personally, I'd check & fold. The real chip accumulation should be starting next...

Re: when is calling an all-in w/ 53o correct? (50+5)

Even if the Villain pushes AKo face-up and I know I have odds to call, I should fold, mainly because of the hit I take to my future FE.
No one likes the added value...
