Game seemed typical for a Saturday night. I was observing the game for about a half hour before I sat down.

First hand I had...

Another river decision?

I was playing $20-40 holdem Saturday morning in my usual casino. Not the best of games, not the worst. I rated myself the second best player in the game. The best player was to my left. I was...

Re: Will John Feeney respect me in the morning?

Re: How many winners can a $20-$40 game support?

Thanks for pointing out the error in my logic. I redid the numbers taking out $180,000 for rake and tips. I was able to come up with a case in which there were three winners. I am not sure how...

How many winners can a $20-$40 game support?

I have always heard estimates that at least 90% of poker players at B&M casinos are long term losers. I play in a twenty forty game with a $5.00 rake. The standard tip is $1.00. I would estimate...

Re: 20/40 In Shreveport

If you play in the $20-40 game there is a reasonable chance you will be playing with Bob Morgan. If Bob is playing the $5.00 rake and food comps will be the least of you worries.
