Re: Best line?

Fine I think. He had the implied odds to call the flop with his gutshot and it hit. I think I'm still calling down incase it's AK or another AT.

Re: Shoulda used WA/WB line?

That's why he was asking. I think the flop is a fold to the 3-bet. I thought he had AK at first, but after looking at it again he's toast. I think the only lines to take here are either raise...

way ahead/way behind.

Either you are ahead and villian has few outs or your are behind and have few outs.

Re: Wondering about this river fold...

You are right about the river calling being closer than first glance. A flop donk really isn't good for the same reasons a flop c/r aren't. What will most better hands do in response to a flop...

Re: Wondering about this river fold...

I don't understand why you would want to do this. What will a hand you beat do in response to a c/r? What will a hand that beats you do? Everything is fine with this play imo.

The only question...

Re: Wondering about this river fold...

I think it's fine personally. I don't think he's raising with KK here. If he does have an A, you are splitting at best.

Re: Simple preflop question

To call 2 bets back to you before the flop with KJo (and the capper is tight) is bad. You dominated here a bunch. As to your flop question, yes the turn is an easy c/f.

Re: Should I play this differently?

Does that mean you have info on button's play? Has he been folding a whole bunch PF?

Re: Should I play this differently?

I would only check the river if I thought he would bet as a bluff more than he would call with a worse hand.

Re: Bad line?

I'm torn between a bet/3-bet on the flop and the more standard flop c/r. If checked to CO will likely bet, allowing you to face the field with 2. The thing is, there aren't many likely gutshots...

Re: Should I play this differently?

I don't open K8o in the CO without a read that button is super tight. Then again, I don't play as many hands as others. Is this standard for people?

I take you lead the flop hoping that button...

Callers? Although since is offsuit, I guess callers don't change things much. I fold.

Re: math question regarding headsup situation

No taking into account that he will have a pair on a KJ9 flop more than on a 752 flop I came up with no pair 62% of the time on the flop.

He doesn't have a PP 94% and 2 hole cards don't make a...

My thoughts

Hand 1 vs Hand 2
3-way vs. HU
Overs + NFD vs. just overs
big pot vs. small pot

You should play more aggressively in big pots. If you bet, you get to charge either or both to draw. You could...

Re: 3/6 SH, 12 hands for review.

Hand 1
You can't really protect your hand on the flop, but you are still way ahead. Raise for value. Also, hand protection is a relative thing. If you get even one fold from someone that has outs...

Re: Why all the secrecy here?

I just thought it a funny thing for a pro to say. Tell your friend I sincerly feel his pain. If you don't already know, ask him what PEBCAK stands for. It's sad and amusing.
