Re: Blind Defense w 99

[ QUOTE ]
either raise and fold to a 3bet/river bet

[/ QUOTE ]

What better hand are you going to get to fold with this line? If you are committed to showdown, then call down. But, the only...

Re: Be an accomplice (step-by-step hand)

1. Preflop good or do u raise?

[/ QUOTE ]

On the flop I bet, BB is probably going to raise here and I'd like to get it heads up.

Getting 5:1 I a complete is fine, not sure I...

Re: 32s on the button w/ strange post-flop action

[ QUOTE ]
UTG2 could have been pumping a straight draw, or hell he could have misclicked.

[/ QUOTE ]

He played it like he either had JT or a better club draw.

Re: 32s on the button w/ strange post-flop action

I was wondering the same thing.. seems like I most likely have an equity edge (b/f things got nutty on the flop) and position. Villians were passive. Thought I'd get a pretty decent chance at a free...

Re: 32s on the button w/ strange post-flop action

[ QUOTE ]
I would not raise this flop closing the action. That is all.

[/ QUOTE ]

Assuming you don't raise post-flop, how do you handle the turn given the 8/images/graemlins/club.gif?

Re: 32s on the button w/ strange post-flop action

I assume your talking about UTG+2 -- JT makes sense for him. But what about BB? Or am I overthinking this one?

32s on the button w/ strange post-flop action

The table has a nice mix of 15/5's (none in this hand) and LPs . I realize the limp on the button is pretty loose, but these guys were so LP I thought it was worth it. Here's the stats on the players...

Re: Cap every street?

I don't know many 10% PRFs that would raise JTs in EP. So, I am not sure I can give him credit for that hand. Certainly, you can't give him credit for any other straight flush. If he has quads, he's...

Re: What\'s the plan here?

[ QUOTE ]

Donkbets rarely signifiy a legitimate hand. It usually means that the donkbettor has picked up some kind of weak draw. That is read dependent, though.

If that's your...

Re: Another ace high river problem.

CO's a little nutty too.. limp-raise pre, 3b flop (cold), fold turn getting 12.5:1? Yikes.

At the river you have to be good about 4% of the time. Given your read, I'd say you'd have to call.

Re: KK shorthanded

It would take a lot of willpower to not raise the turn, but I would certainly raise the river.

Re: Turn play - too weak?

that isnt a play I usually make but I figure him for overcards - sure he could have a higher pair, but 88 isnt a hand I want to play multiway so I 3bet.

Re: Turn play - too weak?

[ QUOTE ]
I was fearing the flush, a hand like AcJc is certainly possible, as is a higher set(although unlikely as no cap preflop)

These hands are possible but not as probable as...

Re: 88 hows this line?

Given the raiser in EP, a TAG, and the 1/3 structure, I'd fold without thinking twice.

If this was a button raise, and I was in the bb, then I'd give action.

I'd take the WA/WB line here. Call if bet into, or bet if checked to (for both the turn and the river).

Overplaying/Underplaying Overpairs

In reviewing my play in PokerTracker, I feel like I've been playing my 99-JJ hands poorly--especially when the flop is unders and the turn brings an over. Either I play too hard when behind or miss...
