Re: I Don\'t Exercise
My bike has a wide enough panel on the front of it that I just sit the laptop there. If I were more industrious I'd make something to hold it in place but a couple fingers usually does the trick. ...

Re: I Don\'t Exercise
Well, if you're already putting in 40 hours at more than 4 tables - you could still do this as "extra" time. You still need to exercise, and this at least makes this kind of exercise relatively...

Re: Pooh-Bah +1 - Longish Post About Bad Players
In watching certain players - I can see them thinking even if they are not the best players.
For example, there have been times when I observed an opponent not playing optimally - then I get...

Re: YOUR poker Story (So far)
Whats your story?
Played a lot as a kid and after graduation (20 years ago) - regular dealer call home games and such. Found out that some guys at work had a regular game and asked in, which got...

Re: I Don\'t Exercise
One thing that I started doing was I bought a recumbent exercise bike and play poker on a laptop while riding. Playing poker takes the focus away from "jesus I still have 30 minutes to go" so much...

Re: AQo and my head is spinning.
The only thing I 'might' have done differently here is bet the flop and see what develops behind you. If you get raised by BTN that is unfortunate but if there are other callers you can probably...

Re: AJs - i have no clue
I like your line here - and it's very possible you won this hand. My concern isn't BB here but it's UTG+1 - either he's really bad or he's sitting on an overpair or a busted 4 flush after the turn....

Re: River bluff raise with 4 flush
My impression on this hand is that SB has a 3, but no spades and played his hand wrong. This is an extremely common play at 2/4 - slow play to turn and cr.
That being the case - it would appear...

Re: Meh. A KK hand.
One thing that doesn't get discussed much is what does he think of you?
For my part, if I know I'm playing a TAG and I'm OOP, I will frequently checkraise this flop without an ace to bluff. If I...

Re: Evil Flop part deux
I'm with ishmael here. There is a SSHE turn hand example where you have AQs with a flop of Q high but with flush and straight draws and the correct play is to wait for the turn. Now this example...

Re: More river play.
Not that this provides you with any solace - but I feel the same as you. Folding the river for 1 bet in a semi big pot seems anti majorkong. I do think I am getting better at it though - but yes I...

(Further, the 2nd king can't be anymore of a scare card to him than the 1st one on the flop - and he hasn't folded yet, right?)

Re: pocket pair with an overcard on flop

I limp in hoping to have my loose call pay off, and get raised.

You shouldn't limp in MP with ATs - but perhaps that's a matter of opinion.

Re: AK fold on flop from bb
As for the flop play - you're getting about 6-1 back to you, but you would be sick to get 3 bet or capped, and you don't even know if your aces or kings are solid outs here, so yes, you fold.

Re: Good Post - What\'s Really the Problem?
