Re: A hand where my overaggressiveness might have cost me a few bets

I check behind on the river to the 3 overcards out there, two on the flop and the BB decides to come with you the whole way. Overcards are T J cards he is more likely to be playing

Re: Two hands for a limit newbie

In Hand 1 I wouldn't plan on check/calling the river unless you know he is one to bluff a lot. Either bet it out or check/fold. K high doesnt have any SD value. Any A beats you, etc.

In Hand 2 I...

Re: Did I misplay 94o?

I wouldn't go for a check-raise on the river here, might as well bet it out, dont want it to get checked around again

Re: Should I be scared?

Anyone just call his pf raise here and hope one of the blinds comes along as well?

Re: Playing AQ against a 3-bet

Well he 3-bet you out of the SB, AQ is only beating AJ, AT, etc. And I suppose you cannot assume your outs are all that clean. Probably fold it

Re: KK--interesting developments--River decisions

He pulled a stop and go on the turn, and since you called there hard to know if he hit a flush. You cannot really gather anything by him betting out, I raise him here, you beat the majority of hands...

Re: 88 on small coordinated board with a huge field

Why would he want to raise this PF, other than to get a freecard, that's about it. Bet the flop when they check to you, no reason to think you are behind, dont give a freecard when you are ahead like...

Re: Building a big pot, with many outs.

He had 15 outs on the turn probably, I think that is good enough vs 2 people.

Re: Party 3/6 - QQ against a loose-passive and an unknown

MP3 cold call is weird. I think you had the button beat though. Without MP3 calling I probably would've reraised the button.

Re: Getting 3-bet with KJs

I don't see anything wrong with raising KJs UTG or going for a c/r on the flop.

Only thing you'll get for free is a free trial of 1k hands. It is worth the money to buy it.

Re: Bankroll to move up... how many BBs do you require

960BB for 3/6, go for it, that's a lot. If you are uncomfortable set a stop limit so you can move back down if you hit a bad streak.

Re: KK - Player wakes up on the turn

Whoa you cant fold here, he bet out on a weak card, people who just hit trips rarely do that, Ive seen this move way to often on the turn, people betting into you when the board pairs, I raise here....

Re: flopped the nuts but hated the turn

I still bet out the turn, I doubt people are raising and 3-betting with a 6

Re: My first real downswing (family pot)

Just with all that flop action you cannot think improving to two pair is even good if someone has a set.

Re: My first real downswing (family pot)

I fold my TP when facing 3 bets. There aint no way you are good now. And your hand will take a lot to improve. Your odds are shot when facing 3 bets btw.

Re: VP$IP 21%. What do I play that you don\'t?

[ QUOTE ]
You dont see the difference of 4bb/100 over 4500 hands compared to 6bb/100 over 9k. Not to mention that the guy was planning to move to $5/$10 not up to 50c/$1.

How can you compare lol...
